Innovation = People + Technology
We believe the next level of innovation in our organizations comes from how we make our processes and systems more effective by finding the right combination of people and technology.
AI augments the human capital investment our organizations have already made by incorporating the experiential, tribal knowledge into process effectiveness. Technology can be used to capture this knowledge and make it more readily available to the whole organization.
We can help you:
- Capture and transfer the knowledge base to make it consistent across our processes and people
- Identify the unseen possibilities to reduce waste and improve profitability that our existing processes, systems and people are not finding
- Creating operational consistency without burdening our existing processes and people
- Identify and correct unnecessary constraints that limit production or use excessive energy
Digital Tools
Neundorfer utilizes a myriad of digital tools as part of our overall process optimization offerings. From traditional statistical models to advanced artificial intelligence, we leverage our extensive knowledge of process optimization with your organization’s best practices to create highly-customized automations to solve your most challenging problems.
Our US-based engineering and programming team allows for flexible, lower cost implementations that are geared to adapt to your production process and existing controls. Your control remains in control, while we implement software solutions to allow you to build in best practices and individual knowledge to spread across shifts and sites. We will work with you to build your capabilities in using the tools so that you aren’t reliant upon an outside consultant to maintain your installation and adapt to new process changes.
Learning Models & Optimizers
Our platform for building rule and model based systems that can be used to fine tune and optimize your business or plant processes. The platform can be used to deploy off-line big data applications and real-time monitoring and closed loop control applications.
The power of the tool is that it uses multiple models in parallel. The models continually retrain themselves as new data is collected. Sophisticated training algorithms continually analyze incoming patterns of data, and through the use of optimizers that will interrogate models, find improved combinations of bias to optimize the targeted process. Models are used in any combination for single or multiple process improvement goals.
Your Control Remains In Control
The tool augments your current control systems and expert systems. The software analyzes incoming patterns of data to find improved combinations to fine-tune control curves and response. Existing control system remain the primary control and constraints remain in place, including, hard limits, calculated limits, data limits, ramp rates, etc. This results in fewer burdens for operators and engineers to learn a new system.
The software is applied to the existing control (DCS) and data historian/plant information systems. It supports multiple data links and types to connect to these sources of information (e.g. Modbus, OPC).
Knowledge Base Builder
The software’s wide range of tools, logic, models and optimizer allow the capture of operator knowledge because it learns what they do that works best and incorporates this into solutions. This allows operators to leverage each other’s individual strengths while collectively achieving a broader system optimization goal.
Open Architecture = User Flexibility
The uniqueness of the software is its open architecture structure. Once configured, the end user has the ability to modify and apply to other processes without having to buy expensive maintenance programs.
